“We had a massive rehearsal session this Saturday working from 10.30am right through till 7.45pm and WOW! It is so exciting to see members of Stage2 working together building fantastically comic scenes. Our Cast and Chorus have been taking on a glitzy dance to the vivacious Hairspray song ‘You Cant Stop The Beat’ in the morning. Then in the evening to T-Rex’s trippy and trendy ‘Get It On’. Later on this week will be specifically choreographic a new invigorating Stage2 dance to be performed in ‘Why is John Lennon wearing a skirt?’.
The Middle Clair’s have been creating a cheerful yet cheerless portrayal of a young person who has grown isolated. As she gradually realises that her once close friends Paul, George and Ringo, have grown apart from her day have developed into a stereotypical young women. Leaving the Middle Clair’s in a state of confusion and abandonment screaming for ‘HELP’ (cue the Beatles ‘Help I need somebody!)”
